Popular destinations such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth remain lively enough to enjoy, but you’ll often find it much easier to park, explore and find a table for lunch.
For anyone who enjoys touring outside the main holiday season, it’s a wonderful time to visit.

You don’t need blazing sunshine to appreciate the Pembrokeshire coastline.
Autumn can provide some fantastic walking conditions, particularly on those crisp, bright days when visibility seems to stretch for miles.

Outside the peak summer weeks, you can enjoy a completely different side to this famous Pembrokeshire seaside town.
Visit Narberth
Another excellent autumn destination is the colourful market town of Narberth, around 6 miles from Hungerford Farm.
Its independent shops, cafés, delicatessens and galleries make it an ideal destination when the weather isn’t quite good enough for the beach.
It’s also a great place to pick up some local Welsh produce to enjoy back at your caravan or motorhome.
Autumn Breaks with Your Dog
Autumn is particularly good for visitors travelling with dogs.
With cooler temperatures, quieter footpaths and miles of countryside and coastline to explore, there are plenty of opportunities for long walks.
